Exemption from appearing
written Test : |
|

2.1
|
A candidate who satisfies
any of the following shall be exempted from
appearing at Entrance Test:
|
| |
-
If qualified at GATE/SET/
NET/JF/JRF examination conducted CSIR/
UGC/ ICAR/ ICMR/DBT only.
-
If he/she hold M.Phil.
degree of any Statutory University wherein
admission to M.Phil. Course has been
done through an entrance test.
-
Foreign/NRI/PIO candidate
will be exempted from appearing for
All India Entrance Test conducted for
admission to Ph.D. programme. However,
he /she will have to appear for the
interview wherein his/her area of research
interest will be discussed. After successful
interview he/she will be provisionally
admitted to Ph.D. programme in the concerned
subject.

Already holding a Ph.D.
from a Statutory University in a discipline
other than the one in which recognition
in sought.
-
The candidate thus
exempted will have to submit the Registration
form to the University before appearing
for the interview within stipulated
duration with relevant supporting documents.

Details of Entrance
Exam: |

The entrance exam shall be conducted by the Dr.
D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune for admission to
Ph.D. programmes in its Constituent Colleges/Institutes
located at Pune.

|
a) The medium of language for the entrance exam
shall be English.
|
| |
b) The entrance exam aims at testing the basic
research aptitude of the research students. The
entrance exam shall have three sections with a
total of 150 marks.

The candidate should submit eight copies of his/her
